Another First for the UrthePlatform: Deimos-2 Data of San Francisco Now Available, Plus Greater Functionality
Deimos-2 + San Francisco = 😍
For the first time, very-high-resolution imagery from our Deimos-2 satellite — of the entire San Francisco Bay Area — can be found on the UrthePlatform, joining data from Theia, Deimos-1, NASA’s Landsat 8, and soon, ESA’s Sentinel-2. Stay tuned for more on that.
Talk about an upgrade.
If a picture’s worth a thousand words, then data’s worth a million. Deimos-2 provides crystal clear 0.75-m resolution imagery, with a 12-km-wide swath. Zoom in and see the quality of this Deimos-2 imagery data with your own eyes. Explore San Francisco >
Form and function, together forever.
To improve your experience and help you leverage the quality of all UrthePlatform data, we’ve released some great new functionalities — more metadata, search options, and support.
Now it’s even easier to get your hands on the data you require with a variety of data search parameters, and a clear outline that shows you precisely what you’re looking for. Once you locate your area of interest, quickly gain insights into that AOI, including sun elevation, cloud coverage, and even scene altitude.
