GWF 2014: UrtheCast Talks Emerging & Disruptive Technologies

Taking place this week in Geneva, Switzerland, The Geospatial World Forum (GWF) is one of the world’s most reputable geospatial events, hosting 1200+ attendees and 500+ organizations from across the globe.

GWF  2014 marks UrtheCast’s first visit to the conference, where we’re discussing our two ISS cameras and interactive platform, all of which will be instrumental in our disruption of the Earth Observation business. Democratizing the view of Earth from space is anything but a simple task, and participating in the GWF is just one way that UrtheCast is broadcasting this ambitious vision to the world.

Tomorrow, on May 8th, UrtheCast’s co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, Dr. George Tyc, will be joining a panel of industry experts to discuss the very emerging and disruptive technologies that are shaping the future of how we image and view our planet.

For more details, follow along on Twitter with the hashtag #GMF2014 and, if you’re in Geneva, be sure to visit us at booth #31 to discover how UrtheCast will let you experience how the world changes and evolves — hour to hour, day to day, and year to year.

UrtheCast discusses its disruption of the EO market, with two cameras installed aboard the International Space Station.
